The agreement between IEM Power Systems and Hitec Electric formalizes the existing cooperation. It underlines the intent of both companies to continue growing the IEM Rotabloc business.

Many rotary UPS systems have embedded diesel engines to provide both short-term and long-term backup. Such Diesel Rotary UPS systems are a well proven, all-in-one solution. Yet some applications do not need long-term backup. And customers may already have diesel generators for this purpose.
IEM Power Systems produces rotary UPS systems that only use kinetic energy to bridge mains interruptions. Rotabloc rotary UPS work stand-alone, or in combination with regular gensets. In that case the genset provides the long-term back-up.
IEM Rotabloc is a flexible and reliable building block for reliable electrical power systems. Applications include data centers, industry and healthcare. Additionally IEM Rotabloc can stabilize renewable energy based micro-grids.
